macksnow.jpg (13199 bytes)Meet our colorful horse, "Mack"
or, as his Appaloosa papers say, "Looking Glass Mack".
He was obviously named for his glass blue eyes!   This fella is
just plain colorful, all the way to his shoulders.  He's a very mild
mannered horse, and is suitable for most riders.

He walks along oh so quiet, but when its' time to canter, it's been said
that it's like 'riding a river'.  His trot is long and he's very much the English horse
- but his canter is BIG, and he moves quickly and with great power.  It's not
hard to imagine why!  Pictured here is his appaloosa sire, Brite Boston Mac
- a son of the great quarter horse, 'Boston Mac'.

Here he is with one of our clients from Germany.
Mack is a horse we always include on our weekend excursions, because he can go all day, is very sound,
and easy to handle while camping.  In fact, he's
just an all around horse. And make no mistake,
our children at the horse camps always fall hard
for Mack's loveable and goofy personality.

He's also very much a "cowboy's horse" in personality, and he's
quite popular with our male clients.  Here is a picture in front of
the marble quarry - that slab of marble in the background is 15 feet high
and still in the ground!  (They don't call Bancroft the Mineral Capital
of Canada for nothin', ya know!)  Mack is a popular horse at the stable
- and you can see why!
