Jump Camp

Personal Water Bottle - make it yours!
Please be sure and send along a distinct bottle that your child will be able to recognize as theirs, with their name on it!.
We push fluids to ensure that all campers drink the amount of water necessary throughout the week, as it does get very hot.

Here's your list of things to bring to camp - be sure and call if you have any questions!

One or two personal munchies - note, pack seperate as they will be kept AT THE FARM, not in camp
Flashlight
Camera (please put your name on it with tape)
favorite book, DVD or walkman for downtime
Blue Jeans
Breeches for show & daily riding (mandatory for daytime lessons)
JUMP VESTS *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* Check E-Bay for good deals on vests
Chaps if you have them (not mandatory)
Track pants for relaxing at night
Teeshirts for the week (at least ONE long sleeved)
sweatshirt and/or warm sweater for cool nights
Shorts (two pairs)
rain jacket (pants not necessary, it's quite warm at this time of year)
ball cap & sunglasses if you need it
bathing suit and towel
toiletries (toothbrush, deoderant, bandaids, etc)
anti inflammatory of choice (parents, please notify me what they have brung or if you need me to monitor them)
socks, undies, etc for a week
bug dope (we find deep woods off is best, unfortunately something with deet works best)
suntan lotion
gloves (for riding)
sleeping bag and pillow
hiking boots or runners if you have them (for hacking around camp) - great for use during the week that is not riding related
riding gloves (inexpensive from any tack store)
Riding boots (paddock boots, tall riding boots, or leather field boots)
** please make sure any riding boots used have a minimum 1.5 cm heel with a 90 degree 'notch' (NOT a smooth/rounded heel)
OR - Half chaps with paddock boot/boot system
A boot system (paddock boot and chap) is preferrable over tall RUBBER riding boots, as they don't allow the heel to flex
Do not worry if you don't have expensive field boots - a boot system is fine for our show
*anyone that doesn't have boots let me know - we might have something that fits!*

NOTE:  IF YOU HAVE A HELMET OF YOUR OWN THAT IS ASTM CERTIFIED, BY ALL MEANS BRING IT.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A CERTIFIED HELMET
*those that don't have a helmet, we have plenty here at the farm for you*
