"SPINNIN A HAZE"
(AKA HAZEL)

Yes, Matt has a new horse! Hazel is a going concern.
Right now she's out for some training, Matt is working
twice a week with Harvey Stevens, to get some pointers
on putting the finish on reining horses. Matt has a strong
desire to learn all about reining, and working cowhorse.
Just this past month, we held a clinic here at the farm with
Darren Bilyea - what an awesome clinic it was! Matt (and
everyone else) ate it up - Matt's goal? Working Cowhorse!

I really haven't had much of a chance to get some better shots
of Hazel. Matt is really enjoying riding her and has found her
to be willing (well, more willing now that Harvey has helped!)
Good reining horses are hard to come by, and Matt is using
Hazel to practice with. Next, he'll probably take Lena! She's
a special little cowhorse bred Appy and one of Matt's favorites.
(well, Next to HAZEL that is.....)

We're being really picky these days, and Hazel is nicely bred,
like the rest of the many quality mares we have on the farm.
On top, she's by AQHA Supreme Reiner Tamu Solid Oak
by Hall of Famer, Doc Oak who needs NO introduction!

On Hazel's damside, she's great top & bottom - Continental
King and Continental Ace - very solid all round winners
in disciplines across the board, with NCHA & NRHA
Hall of Fame sires, Plus top producing records and points
in just about every event. Hazel sure has alot to live up to!
