If I told you she was 16.3 HH, and the largest
horse in our barn, could you pick her out of this
photo? Sparkling White and beautiful, isn't she?

Folly was bred born and raised in Eldorado
Ontario,
is 20 years young and pure
white. She's
an exceptional
mare and in all regards, a 'gentle giant'. She is by the
TB Stallion 'Easy Moniker" who twenty years ago,
produced 5 Governor General
Cup Winners. Folly has
also
produced
several 'A' circuit jumpers in her lifetime,
and
we are thrilled to have her.
Pictured right is one of her
sons,
"Ravenwood Lincoln" - he was a
lovely 16.2 grey
stallion (by the Warmblood 'Fraggle Rock')
and
stood
at stud for a time
at Blueridge Stable in Virginia.
Pictured left is "HWT Spring Fever" (April) by the Trakehner
stallion Prinz Habicht - April is a lovely filly & is still with
here mother here at our farm. We are seeing some fine talent
in April and are expecting great things from her!

Folly was bred & owned by folks who had a fondness for fine horses. Her dam,
'Bennison Wynn' was a purebred, imported and registered Clydesdale, brought
over from England in 1976 when the owner's family immigrated to Canada.
So,
Folly spent eighteen years of her life loafing and raising some very well bred
babies. She produced babies from several warmblood stallions, including
Fraggle Rock and Prinz Habicht. When we purchased Folly several years ago,
we gave
her a brief brush up on her riding skills, and off she went - simple as that.
A gentle, pretty and quiet mare, Folly is
suited for just about any skill level.
We've used her for everything from child riders, to large riders who wanted a nice
quiet stroll on a gentle horse. This gal is a real bonus here at the farm, and we
are very fond of her carefree, lah dee dah personality.

Folly even proved herself as a fantastic camp
horse,
and participated in our Show Camp, our Trailblazer camp,
and our Pack Trip. When she wasn't toting campers through
our program, Folly was taking beginner riders out on the trails.
What a girl. Here, she is pictured doing the barrel pattern with
one of our Show Campers, crossing a lake, and all dolled up.
Isn't she just a lovely girl? Check out her daughter 'April's page.
