child's horse camp experience a

Camps are designed for all
ages and riding levels - fun for all!
Our Horse Camp is designed to encourage
all riders to be the BEST that they can be,
while keeping things fun, positive and rewarding, which builds
self esteem
and encourages campers to broaden their horizons anddevelop lasting relationships.
Since we opened our doors to horse lovers six years ago, our camps have been a
resounding success!
Our goal is to have develop the
most innovative riding camp
programs to be found in Ontario, Canada!

This All Girls' March Break Children's Horse & Dogsledding
Camp is back again in 2008,
with openings for 16 animal crazy girls!
Winter Fun is the theme, and we're doing
it up like no other!
Daily dogsledding & Horseback Riding, Outdoor learning and
much more!
This residential camp will get your child outside in the
fluffy stuff with the dogs & horses, with plenty of things to keep them busy!

Trail riding, camp fires, riding lessons,
and other great 'hands on' horse related
sessions you can share with that special
youngster in your life. It will keep

HORSE TRAINING CAMP
(June 29 - July 5, 2008)

For ENGLISH & WESTERN riders who have
a strong
desire to learn all there is to know
about horses and training.
All week our
campers
learn comprehensive skills in
training horses -
from handling weanlings
to breaking and training
youngsters, campers
enjoy plenty of hands on
experience aboard
our trusted school horses. For
campers who
enjoy English, Western (or both!) we
ride
for the majority of the week in our seat of
choice
& cross train occasionally thru the week.

JUMP CAMP 
(July 6th - July 12, 2008)
*AGES 11 - 18 (INTERMEDIATE TO COUNSELOR IN TRAINING)
A camp for girls who love to jump! Campers
looking to improve their jumping and enjoy a
variety of jumping skills development drills will
LOVE it.
From flatwork to hacking to developing
handiness over different
courses, our camp focuses
on developing jumping skills to a higher level.
Entry level cross country, conditioning work, and
more will improve the
girls' riding skills and allow
them to
enjoy a relaxed camp based on what they
all love to do - JUMP and RIDE!

HUNTER JUMPER CAMP
(July 13th - July 19th, 2008)
*AGES 11 - 18 (INTERMEDIATE TO COUNSELOR IN TRAINING)
Open to girls who love to show off, and want
to experience
how to prepare, train, and put on
the polish in order to
organize & compete in our
very own Hunter/Jumper Horse
Show! For
english riders with good basic skills, who want
to learn more about the Hunter/Jumper Scene.
Lessons& clinics through the week, in a relaxed
setting, ending
with an on site horse show which
they will organize and
put on for their parents'
enjoyment. This is a hugely
popular camp -
because who doesn't love to jump?
With a
focus on good equitation over fences, there
are Hunter and Jumper classes for our riders.

CO-ED COWHORSE CAMP
(July 20 - July 25, 2008)
*AGES 10 - 18 ( NEWBIE TO ADVANCED)
It's simple - it's just cows.....! If you think
Headin' West camp looks fun, read on. This
Co-ed horse camp is open to COWBOYS
AND COWGIRLS , and is an excellent choice
for riders who want to spend time playing with
a whole herd of calves! Team Penning, Sorting,
Roping & Working cattle - campers learn about
the 'workin' end of a horse (& cow!) Best of all
- all riding levels can give this horse camp a
whirl because cows are fun to chase & skills
develop fast with all that fun! And, best of all,
we finish up with a NIGHT DEMO SHOW!
*layovers are no problem for campers wishing to do both!*

COED SHOW CAMP
(July 27 - Aug 2, 2008)

English and Western horse camp for young
horse loving, horse CRAZY boys and girls
of all ages and abilities. Daily riding lessons
develop skills to participate in a variety
of classes in both English and Western
classes at a SHOW! Riding skills develop
with great comraderie, open to all levels, and
always a big hit. Daily lessons, and a show
at weeks' end to compete for ribbons
with all the fun and none of the frenzy.

FARM CAMP
(Aug 4 - Aug 9, 2008)
*AGES 7 - 14 (NEWBIE, BEGINNER & NOVICE)
For Horse lovers from 7 - 12 years of age, this girls only
FARM CAMP is a horseback riding camp with a twist!
A maximum of 15 campers will enjoy daily riding lessons
as well as quality horse time, along with a fun 'rotational'
program involving all sorts of cute, young farm animals!
Educational and fun, our animal lovers learn about being
responsible and caring for a variety of lively farm critters
- from ducks and chickens to sheep and goats, bottle
feeding calves and handling our weanling colts and fillies,
grooming and fussing over all - it's fun for our lil' campers
and is open for both day and residential campers. Best
of all, the campers will research and design a fun display
with their FAV farm critter, & show off their new animal
knowledge alongside their friends in our FARM SHOW.

'EVERYTHING' CAMP

For girls looking for a fantastic week of horse
activity
with lots of riding & horse time - this one
has a little bit of
EVERYTHING we do here on
our farm! Switching from
english to western and
back again, our campers keep busy
with very own
horse for the week. There's 'everything' from
western games to crossing water, obstacle courses
& crossrails,
chasing cows on horseback and honing
horsemanship skills,
and of course even trail riding
on our extensive system! Riders
improve skills while
having fun with other horse crazed kids their age.

It stands to reason that the moms and
daughters can't have ALL the fun -
so we've cooked up something similar
for the dads and their young lads to
get you out and enjoying a nice fall
weekend on horseback. Riding lessons,
cashing cows, trail rides, campfires, and
lots of time to bond with your favorite
boys while enjoying something unique.
Horses are great for everyone, you'll see!
