Meet "Boomer"
or as he is called on his papers - "Christal Rainman" a registered
breeding stock Paint.
We just call him "The BIG BAD BOOM" (as a nickname) Boomer has the
typical 'stock horse'
build & easy going attitude. He is very solid and his gentle demeanor makes him
perfect for
novice riders. He's the most intelligent horse I've ever owned - to look into his
face is to
KNOW he is WATCHING you. He started off at the bottom of the totem pole, but has
slowly
but steadily worked his way to the top. So he's right behind Cowboy (and Egor) in
rank.

Boomer will cross any obstacle
you throw at him ~ or open any gate when you're not looking!!
He's got a personality that will constantly surprise and amaze you and is indispensable to
us on the
trail! Here's a neat picture of Boomer with one of his favorite riders from a few years
back - on one of the
hottest days of the year. Boomer is truly a 'go anywhere' horse - and he'll do it
quietly, even with a
greenhorn in the saddle. He's the kind of horse that expects you to 'tell' him to do
something,
otherwise he just stands there, waiting and pretending he doesn't understand.
It's the gleam in his eye that gives him away. He's one smart cookie.

He's pretty funny, because he
can always tell if someone is
a 'softie' and will wait until they tell him firmly enough, then slowwwwllly
start off down the trail. This makes him a PERFECT horse for beginners -
or people who don't like a horse to move too quickly unless they say so.
Still, he's one of the best broke horses we own - and Matt has won money
on him team penning! He neck reins, backs on a light rein, and knows
leg yielding, turn on the forehand and haunches - and much more.
He's one of the backbones of our stable for sure!
