"BEAR"

This girls name comes from her AQHA registered name, which is
'DoubleTrouble Bear'.  We certainly didn't want to name her
'Trouble' so 'Bear' stuck.  And no, she's NO TROUBLE at all!

We couldn't be happier with Bear.  She is a bulky and solid mare,
well put together with pleasant features.  She is actually related to
"Mack" through her grandfather, "Boston Mac".  Bear is very quiet
minded, with a forward but very steady pace, and has proven to work
quite well with everything from novice riders up to experienced.

She is a very well mannered horse on the ground,
and she fit in quite well as a camp horse - everyone
who rode her loved her! Her quiet demeanor means
that she bonds well with her caretakers, and grooming
and being fussed over is her favorite part of life. And
when it was time to learn to jump, Bear excelled at
this particular event! Bear absolutely loves a course, and
shows beautiful style over low fences. Right now, she's
working at two feet, but here, she's doing three foot.
She's a great kids mount, and we're expecting great
things from Bear in the very near future.

Bear has gathered alot of experience here at the farm.  She has alot of talent, and took
well to everything we have thrown at her.   She handles jumps with grace, has penned cattle
without batting an eye, and even enjoyed camping out on our week long pack trip.  With many
hours on the trail under a variety of riders, Bear has shone.  We love her and hope to breed her
- it would be nice to see the (hopefully) fabulous results!

Watch for Bear's photos from this summer's Hunter Jumper Camp, where she willl
get a chance to strut her stuff - I'm sure she'll shine and give a great ride!
