ON A HORSE HUNT IN ONTARIO?
We would like to help direct you to some of the finest horses for sale in Ontario! Check out our horses for sale on the page,
or visit our breeding page for details on our upcoming sporthorse, warmblood, quarter horse and appaloosa foals.
We don't sell
many horses,
because we are not
dealers. Occasionally, we have to
place a horse of ours that is serviceable and sane, and
because we love all the horses we have had work with us, we search carefully for the right
buyer. We often place
older horses
that have worked well for us, but are ready to
retire. Sometimes, we even have quality young horses & babies for sale. We declare
all soundness issues so that you know what you are buying. If you see a horse here, that means
we believe it is a good quality
animal that is a
great find
- we don't post bums here,
that just isn't our style. We are fond of our gang, and we like to see them
go
somewhere where they can live happy useful lives and get their 'ticket' out of the drudgery of stable work when the time is right!

"HWT Spring Fever "
(April)

8 year old Warmblood Cross Mare
(entered CWHBA Auxiliary Book)
We've had April since she was three and she's worked both Camp and regular outside Shows.
A smooth ride, sensitive not goofy, very flexible & frames nicely with tons of trail riding experience.
April has schooled entry level cross country, is solid at Training level dressage and has very nice
movement (sitting trot is a snap!) jumps solid to 2'9" with some
schooling over 3'3" verticals
without issues. April has had one foal by Tramino and it is a lovely filly with fabulous movement.
Smart & sensitive to the aids so not really for beginners - would suit a solid youth or adult rider
who is working towards showing in either dressage or eventing, or perhaps jumpers (she has scope!)
Eligible for Canadian Sport Horse approvals and full papers - being entered in the CWHBA book
means that any warmblood foals from Canadian Warmblood Approved stallions get papers.

April & Penny dressage shows 2010
Two Dressage series attended - Bronze medal with 66% average score
and Reserve Champion (by 1/2%) and high score test (69%) in the other.
One was a sanctioned event, the other a VERY tough schooling series.

Prince Habicht, April's sire, is a Silver Premium
Canadian Sporthorse that excels in Dressage and
Hunters. An excellent tempered stallion with a
good show record, April has dad's movement!
A SOUND, quality mare with a great future.
$8000 (plus hst) SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE
*Dressage Flash - April is undefeated in her first two sanctioned
shows with Training scores 64% - 69%!

"Just for Sport "
(aka Sport)

13.2 Hand Welsh x Appy cross pony
$5000 (plus hst) This striking medium pony could go MUCH further
and has already proven himself to be a safe and superb
children's mount. Champion at his first Hunter show over 2'9"
here at camp in STIFF competition, and lots of wins & miles at outside
shows over fences and on the flat. Very adjustable, easy to handle, trailers bathes
and great to manage - and best of all NO PONY ATTITUDE.

Will go FAR and is super popular with his riders - Sport is quiet enough for beginners!
He's done four years of kids camps and each year he takes riders with less and less
experience, and helps them to jump, team pen, barrel race, and trail ride. He is now able
to take a child still wobbly over fences, tiny in stature, and even nervous riders - to a win!
He's competed
happily at outside Hunter/Jumper schooling series and dressage competitions.
Always in the ribbons, he's a stylish, fancy little pony with big movement and an even bigger heart.
(And just to be different, Sport is also an amazing team penner - even with BIG cows .....!)

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE!

"Bellystopping Daisy "
(aka Chiklet)

14.2 Hand AQHA Registered DUN Filly
$3000 (plus hst)
Besides being a striking Dun (looks buckskin but has a dorsal stripe)
with a flashy blaze, Chiklet has loads of muscle and is very atheltic.
She's been started over fences, she's been in camp shows, she trail rides
very well and has been used to guide - she's a nice all round pony for
a youth or an adult who likes something in a compact package.
Chiklet won her first barrel race, is very keen over fences, with no vices.
Chiklet has competed at her first schooling eventing show, and has
team penned cattle - she's snappy, sane, and tons of fun - and PRETTY!
**flash - Chiklet wins her first Hunter Schooling Show Championship first time out!**
She's had her DNA done and has had one filly who was also a dun!
By the NCHA winning stallion 'Bellystopper' out of Iowa, she's a
nice package and we can see her eventing, doing jumper, or gaming.
Read more about Chiklet on her page - here - she's an awesome package!
