TRAIL RIDING!  CAMPING!  SWIMMING!  EXPLORING!
... AND THEN MORE TRAIL RIDING!

TRAIL BLAZERS "HOTSHOT"
AUG 24 - AUG 30TH, 2008
... JOIN US FOR HIGHLAND TREKS THAT WILL MAKE SOME MEMORIES!

We had a great time last year with our campers, with lots of EXPLORING
and good old fashioned trail
riding fun.  One week of camping and
campfires, scouring new trails, and relaxing with your horse. So it's back
again and EVERYONE is welcome - AND - You can ride in either ENGLISH
or WESTERN seat! That's right - YOU get to choose, and it will be a blast.

Make no mistake, IT'S ABOUT COMFORT. Home cooked meals & showers
every night, LOTS of MOVIES every evening (flopped out on the floor with
pillows and blankies) a roaring campfire at night,
and of course, touring the
countryside to see the sights every single day. Best of all, you'll be enjoying
your very
own horse for the week!

Just think, it's something like our OLD pack trip, EXCEPT:

~ NO HASSLES WITH LUGGING A PACK HORSE AROUND!
~ NO DEHYDRATED FOOD!
~ NO SETTING UP AND TEARING DOWN A CAMP!

JUST LOTS OF TRAIL RIDING AND EXPLORING WITH
NEW TRAILS, NEW ADVENTURES, AND OF COURSE, NEW FRIENDS!

Most of our current camps, while definitely
a ton of fun, feature a high
energy week of
instruction and learning.  We try to break
the mold every
year when designing our
unqiue Ontario Children's Camps.   So, we
thought
we'd do something a bit different,
more low key, for the camper who just wants

to relax.  The girls have always commented
they'd like to do more trail riding
- now
here's their chance!  Just one solid week
of deep woods exploration,
with a favorite
horse & their newfound friends!  Going to
a Horseback Riding Camp
makes for great
summer fun - and this one has been a
great addition to our horse camp roster!

As always, we go for full immersion!  From our cozy cabin
with nightly crackling campfire in an on farm wilderness

that's proven itself to be a popular teenage experience!

Relaxing at night and enjoying crispy marshmallows and comraderie
with their new friends is a feature attraction of all our camps!

There's nothing like the outdoors and horses to get kids having fun and
enjoying one last relaxing, entertaining fling before school starts up!
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of my time taken each
summer in Ontario's near north. Make no mistake, it gives our youngsters
a real appreciation for nature and the beauty of our own Ontario.

Our Riding Stable is in a fantastic spot!
The Hasting's Highlands, at the heart of
Central Ontario's fun tourism & vacation
areas, are just minutes from Algonquin
Provincial Park! Lakes, Forests, and
the flora and fauna that make the area
a wilderness paradise are right at our
doorstep, making for great summer fun.

Our area is blessed with a trail system so gargantuan that we can make
this really unique residential camp happen for our
girls - and best of all, we can
leave right from the farmhouse.  We wanted to design a camp that would be fun for
our young horse lovers, and not too much work.  That way, the girls can concentrate
on seeing the sights.  Oh, they'll learn some better riding skills, and tons of
'on trail safety tips' - something about the flora and fauna of the area, and maybe a
bit about crossing mudholes and swamps. Maybe they'll learn a bit about how to
tie a horse properly or how to build a campfire and, oh ya, the best way to get a
marshmallow off when it's all gooey and crusty on the outside    ....getting the picture?
