What can anyone say about the best horse they've ever owned?
Affectionately know as "Egor", he's truly one of a kind.  Egor started out as
Matt's horse, back in 1997.  As you can see, he's so reliable and safe, and
trained to such a degree that he's an incredibly pleasant horse to ride
- so much so that quickly became our number one trail & lesson horse.

Here he is with Matt at a show, relaxing between classes.  Now, Egor's main
job is escorting the small frys' around the wilderness trail system here at
the farm.  In his day, Egor was a very successful club circuit horse, and took many
new riders to impressive wins in English, Western, and trail class.   Now, he is quite
content to truck beginners around the farm.  Egor is semi-retired because this
champ has earned a relaxing life of extra special feed and T.L.C. - he deserves it!

We're very fond of our special appaloosa, and Egor is here to stay.
Sometimes,  having a special "oldtimer" kicking around just makes you feel good.
